With sadness, we share the passing of Marcie Johnson of Waco, Texas. Marcie, born on August 8, 1951, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Marcie for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert "Billy" Houser and Jane Windrow Houser. She is survived by: her husband Steve Johnson; her children, Michelle (Jason) and Michael (Cindy); and her grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel, Elliott and Josephine.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (4901 Cobbs Dr, Waco, TX 76710). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
