She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kuretsch and Mabel Kuretsch (Finn); her husband Erwin Edward Abel; her brothers, Willard Kuretsch and John Kuretsch; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Paar, Ed Paar and Milton Fleischhauer; and her grandsons, Scott Abel and Jordan Bayer.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Bayer (Jerry) and Mike (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jerome Bayer, Jonathan Bayer (Marcia), Allison Abel (Jake Smith) and Lindsey Abel Lewis; her great grandchildren, Presley Abel Lewis, James Bayer, Titus Bayer, Noah Bayer and Hannah Bayer; her sister Carolyn Fleischhauer; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Kuretsch and Shirley Kuretsch.
