He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Sidio Acevedo and Lupe Acevedo; and his siblings, Josephine and David.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Mary Ann Cisneros and Pauline Olvera (David). He is also survived by loving brothers and sisters; grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
