It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Olvera Jr. of Waco, Texas, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe and Gloria Olvera; and his godfather Joe Rito Olvera (Maria A. Aguilar). He is survived by: his parents, Mario S. Olvera, Sr. and Josefina Iruegas Olvera; his godmother Christine Olvera; his sisters, Becky Olvera and Gloria Olvera; his daughter Cristiana J. Olvera; his girlfriend Jennifer Nolte; his stepson Alfredo Fernandez; and his nieces and nephews, Hope Olvera, Josie Olvera, Larry, Syrus, Symon, Shelsea, Angelina, Jose Trey, Paul Olvera, Mario Jesus Olvera, Rebekah Faith Olvera, Ana Iruegas, Norma Iruegas, Juan Iruegas, Sr., Crescencio Iruegas, Joe Ireguas, Josie DeLosSantos, Chilo Olvera, Gene Olvera, Angie Perez and Gloria Tanner.
