We announce the death of Martha Bigham of Waco, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 81. Martha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seabe Washington and Hulda Mae Johnson (Grimes); her husband John Bigham; her son John Robert Bigham, Jr.; and her siblings, Johnson and Betty Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Mefford (Phillip) and Christopher Williams (Maryanne); her son-in-law John Kitch, Sr.; her grandchildren, Tillie Frederick (Logan), Tiffany Kitch (Jose Acostavalle), Amanda Mefford (Ian), John Kitch II (Sarah Beth) and Kenny Mefford; her brother-in-law Joe Carter; her great grandchildren, Cecilia Joy Kitch, Keegan Frederick, Blaise Kitch, Eisley Frederick and Evangeline Kitch; and her close friends, Marie Nicosia, Monica Hix and Janet Harrison. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
