She was predeceased by: her parents, William Orville and Anna Whitacre (Dowell); her husband Melvin Dean Babb; her son Michael Dean Babb; and her brother Carl Lee Whitacre.

She is survived by: her siblings, Wilbur Edwin Whitacre (Lena) of St. Joseph and Helen Ann Stanley of Kearney; and her children, David Thomas Babb of Trenton, Mary Patricia Danks (Larry) of Hewitt, TX, William Paul Babb (Lori) of Europe and Brian Robert Babb of Trenton.

Memorial donations are suggested to the First Baptist Church Missions Fund and may be left with or mailed to Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.
