With sadness, we share the passing of Melissa Ayn Myrick of Waco, Texas. Melissa, born on September 18, 1953, passed away on August 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Myrick and Roma Myrick. She is survived by: her children, Alayna Herrin and Michael Aleksines; her grandchildren, Corey, Lillian, Roma, Nicholas and Cordelia; her brother Michael "Mike" Myrick (Evelyn); and her cousin Susan Jett. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
