He is survived by: his wife Esther Flores; his children, Angela Yvonne Gutierrez, Melissa Jasmine Gutierrez, Marlynn Sandra Flores (Steven Paul Sisneros), Alma Delia Gonzalez (Francisco Gonzalez), Ruth Elizabeth Flores Herrera (Jacob Herrera), Judith Sanchez (Jose Julian Ibarra), Michael Lance Gutierrez, Marcos Anthony Flores, Robert Carlos Flores and Colt Nick Flores; his mother Tomasa Chavez Camacho; and his siblings, Maria Ofelia Gutierrez Chavez (Raul Serrato), Martin Gutierrez Chavez (Cristina), Manuel Gutierrez Chavez (Angelica), Jose Assuncion Gutierrez Chavez (Alma) and Feliciano Gutierrez Chavez (Maria Del Socorro). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home (6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2621 Bagby Ave, Waco, TX 76711). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
