Roy Baldridge wrote a sympathy message

“Pat was a long-time friend and I loved him. We attended school together in Waco for many years and college at Tarleton. I talked to him on the phone only a few weeks ago. I will always consider him one of my best friends. He was an honest, hard-working, and considerate man. I will always regret that our paths led us in different directions, and we did not remain close. That is part of the pain I feel right now. I missed him being part of my adult life. Pat was a great guy.”
