She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Walls and Genevieve Walls; her brothers, Hugh Walls, Ron Walls, Gregg Walls, Philip Walls and Larry Walls; her siblings-in-law, Charles Powers, Percy Powers, Jr. and Naomi Powers; and her son James Powers.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Darden Powers; her siblings, Dona Fitzgerald (Dean), Linda Fields (Tim) and Richard (Sheri); her sisters-in-law, Vicki Walls, Rachel Walls, Nancy Walls, Sandy Walls and Betty Powers; her children, Susan Breen (Larry) of Hewitt, John Powers (Lisa) of Plano, David Powers (Shonda) of Hewitt and Peter Powers (Christy) of McGregor; her grandchildren, Kristin, Kevin Breen, Derek Watson (Savannah), Alyssa Gerard (Tommy), Brandon, Macy Powers, Kaitlin, Aaron and Micah Powers; and her great grandchildren, Kinley Watson-Moffett and Kylo Watson. She is also survived by her family as mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Breen, Tommy Gerard, Joseph Harris, Aaron Powers, Brandon Powers, and Derek Watson, and memorials may be made to Cornerstone Church.
