He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rodriguez and Consuelo Rodriguez; and his siblings, Joe Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriguez, Mary Rodriguez and Irene Calderon.
He is survived by: his wife Dominga Rodriguez; his stepchildren, Rose, Jerry Smart, Richard, Evette Almanza, Michael, Rhonda Almanza, Linda and Blake Almanza; his grandchildren, Mark Castillo, Jacob, Destinee Castillo, Joshua Castillo and Leland Almanza; his great grandchild Noah Castillo; and his sisters, Lupe Carmona, Gloria Ables and Rebecca Schoonover. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
