He is survived by: his wife Anna Vargas; his children, Ramon Vargas, Jessica Marie Thornton and Lucinda Espinosa; his siblings, Paul Vargas and Lydia Sonabria; and his cousin Charlie Carro. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
