He was predeceased by: his mother Miriam Hicks (Kelley). He is survived by: his wife Dora Maria Hicks of Waco; his daughters, Melanie Young of Rogers, Tammy Sturdivant of New Braunfels and Kristy Caroline of Spring Branch; and his stepchildren, Arturo Nieto of Waco, Johna Nieto of Waco, Jessica Hernandez of Waco, Abraham Nieto of Waco and Jesus Nieto of Waco. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 22 step grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holland Cemetery (10814 Holland Cemetery Rd, Holland, TX 76534).
