She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Byars and Jesse Byars; and her siblings, Marvin Byars, Mona Sharpe and Carol Shanks.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Erdman; her children, Kevin Erdman (Laura Erdman) of Flower Mound and Yvette Erdman of Austin; her sisters, Ruby Barlow, Velma Tate, Lawana Denney (Red) and Cathy Wyatt (Tom); her sister-in-law Donna Myatt (Murray); and her grandchildren, Emily Erdman, Ian Erdman, Elizabeth Gonzalez and MIchael Gonzalez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
