He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jeanne Patterson; his children, Kimberly Ann Patterson and Damon Ray Patterson; his parents, Edben O. Patterson and Hazel V. Patterson; and his sister Paula Pitts.
He is survived by: his children, Laurel L. McGuire of McGregor, TX and Dannie W. Patterson of Tennessee Colony, TX; and his sister Jan G. Hager of Early, TX. He is also survived by four granddaughters; one grandson; and 15 cherished great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blaylock Funeral Home (1914 Indian Creek Rd, Brownwood, TX 76801).
