She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Barnard Lane and Margaret Kathcart Lane; her great-grandparents, George Barnard and Mary Ross Barnard; her husband William Christopher Schmidt, Jr.; and her daughters, Debra Haddad (Tom) of Crawford, Catherine Bradshaw of Waco and Ellen Schmidt of Dover, Arkansas.. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
