We are sad to announce that, on November 25, 2025, at the age of 95, Sara Doss of Waco, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gordon Shelley and Vinnie Bell Miller Shelley; her husband B. F. "Benny" Doss; and her siblings, Willie Curtis Shelley, Robert Thomas Shelley, Malley Shelley, Grover Cleveland Shelley, Samford Harold Shelley, Carl Ray Shelley, Aaron Jeffrey Shelley, Franklin Delano Shelley, Mary Alice Mixon and Winnie Rose Capps.

She is survived by: her children, Tara Suzette "Boots" Doss (Monica), Billy LaThey Doss and Bonita "Bunny" Doss Vaughter (Phil); her grandchildren, Benny Lee Doss, Billy Ray Doss, Jackie Doss, Billy Frank Ferguson, Mark Ferguson and Cree Doss; her great grandchildren, Nathan Doss, Scotti Doss, Arika Burwell, Maci Doss, Hanna Doss, Samantha Ferguson and Ashley Ferguson; her great great grandchildren, Kinsley, Wyatt, Creek, Leighton, Josie and Harper; and her caregiver Amber, RN.
