She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey DuBose and Pinnice DuBose (Whiddon); her husband Calvin Curtis Holmes, Sr.; her son Curtis Calvin (Holmes, Jr.); and her son-in-law Larry King.
She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia King (Mark Cugal), Sherry Baker (Gary) and Audrey Forde (Barry); and her sisters, Sherry Baker (James) and Betty Phillips (Billy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, along with her nieces, nephews and other family members.
