He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Ott and Dorothy Ott; and his siblings, Bernard Jr. (Cynthia) of Waco, James (Margaret) of Arlington, Robert (Rachel) of Houston, Brian (Juli) of Austin and Rose Hutyra (Jeff) of Round Rock. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
