It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma (Barker) Messimer in Waco, Texas, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Barker and Tressie Barker; her husband Doyce Messimer (Jack); her son Roger Messimer; and her grandson Carson Messimer.
She is survived by: her son Jack; her sister JoAnn Edwards; her children, Bette Cook, Sherri Messimer and Alan Messimer (Paula); and her grandchildren, Brett Cook, Jody Messimer (Meg), Allison Messimer, Svannah Martinez and Kyleigh Messimer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
