We announce the death of Virginia Montoya Wiseman of Waco, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 82. Virginia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Virginia will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Virginia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her children, Abel Ochoa and Rita Ochoa Shaver; her grandchildren, Vera Virginia Cuffee, Roy Don Shaver Jr., Sherry Sue Shaver, Lisa Ann Ochoa and Abel Joe Ochoa; and her brothers, Jesus Montoya, Ruben Montoya and Johnny Montoya. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rosemound Cemetery (3201 S 12th St, Waco, TX 76706).
