He is survived by: his wife Jaydean Willis of Waco; his children, Steven Willis (Kelly Knape) of Portugal and Melissa Rowen (John) of Hutto; his stepsons, Terry Barton (Jill) and Darryl Barton; his grandchildren, Kris Barton (Gabriella), Kathleen Barton and Faith Rowen; his great grandchild Gabriel Barton; his siblings, Kenny Willis (Martha) and Glenora McDaniel (Ronnie) of Lake Jackson; and his brother-in-law Larry Volcik (Dody). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Brethren Church or the HOT Public Safety Historical Center.
