He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Douglas and Claribel Collins Brown; his siblings, Douglas, Virginia, Dorothy Bowen Crabb, Frederick, Barbara Hitt, Gerry Thompson, Bland, Patsy Barfield and Martha Dudek; his former wife Bettie Jo Williams; his children, Becky Burgin and Brad; and his granddaughters, Ashley and Heather Burgin.

He is survived by: his brother Bill; his wife Jeanette Rosalie Anders; his children, Bob (Debbi Brown), Barry Brown (Tricia Janes) and Kelley (Jason Jakubik); his daughter-in-law Shirley Brown; his grandchildren, Jeff Brown, David Brown, Jesse Brown, Jackson, Luke and Caroline Jakubik; and his great grandchildren, Bridget, Brooklyn, Blakely and Beau Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
