He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Davis and Althea Davis; his wife Doris Lang Davis; his siblings, Ezra, Sylvester, Phil, Hillard Davis, Coloma Franklin, Julie Carr, Justine Giles, Dorthea Davis, Darlene Davis and Ezelle Davis; and his nephew Deckard "Mighty" Alexander.
He is survived by: his brother Skillful Davis; his niece Sis; and his friend Isaiah Williams. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at 420 Aycock St, Marlin, TX 76661. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
