She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Billy" Boyd and Mary Lea Christian; her brothers, James, Billy and Jerry; her husband Shelby Robert Bowles; her son Shelby Bowles, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Denise Bowles; and her sister Doris Harlow.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Bowles, Mark Bowles (Elizabeth Bowles) and Gayle Wooten (Randy Wooten); and her sisters, Virginia Baker (Ginnie), Sue Fox and Ginnie. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
