He is survived by: his wife Maria Rosa Martinez; his sons, Robert W. Martinez (Paula) and Arthur R. Martinez, Jr. (Katy); his grandchildren, Jaxen Paul Martinez, Cordelia Jane Martinez, Charles Crew Martinez and Colette Rose Martinez; and his brother Danny Vargas.
