She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Josephine (McGarity) and Howard "Newt" Harris. She is survived by: her husband Pilar "Pete" Basquez; her daughter Amanda Basquez Soefje (William); her grandson Carson Pilar Soefje; and her siblings, Donna Harris Bennett (Michael), Susan Harris Cernoch (Paul) and Michael Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seydler-Hill Funeral Home (906 St Paul St, Gonzales, TX 78629). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Waelder Cemetery (824 N Ave D, Waelder, TX 78959).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Waelder Cemetery Association P.O. Box 247 Waelder, Texas 78959.
