He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Leroy Acock and Margaret Thompson Acock; his nephews, John Burke and Edward Metzig; and his brother-in-law Bill Metzig.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Acock; and his siblings, Don Acock (Linda) and Gwendolyn Metzig. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Canon Funeral Home (1420 Farr St, Waller, TX 77484).
