We announce the death of Charlene Rosalie Nowak (Wallis, Texas), who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 94. Charlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zalesak and Martha Zalesak (Orsak); her husband Henry Nowak of Wallis; her son Glen Nowak; her great grandchild Geoffrey Nowak; and her sisters, Tillie Sklar and Mildred Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Nowak, Houston, Faye Krenek (James) and Lois Krenek (Joe Ray). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and spouses, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church (5610 Demel St, Wallis, TX 77485). A rosary was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471).
