The family announces the passing of Steven Silvas of Wallis, Texas on October 15, 2026. Steven, born on May 22, 1991, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Steven will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Steven by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Steven is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Steven’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his mother Martha Zavala; his sisters, Natalie Silvas, Harmoni Silvas and Melodee Silvas; and his sons, Ezra Penaloza, Cloud Penaloza and Oyenit Penaloza. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and grandmother.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Earthman Resthaven Cemetery (13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
