She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Richey and Gertrude Richey; her husband Milton Benton Halfin Jr.; her daughter Sherry Ann Halfin; and her brother Paul A. "Sonny" Richey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Coeta Gertrude Conklin (John Hugh Conklin) and Doris Alberta Christian (James Christian); her children, Belinda S. Halfin (Sharon Flagg), Milton Benton Halfin III (Lois Ann Halfin), Melissa S. Burke and Christopher P. Halfin (Jennifer Halfin); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Halfin, Sarah Halfin, Vanessa Webb, Madison Burke, Blake Brannan, Katy Brannan and Rossi Peters.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Wallis (123 Birch St, Wallis, TX 77485). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the Hartsville Cemetery.
