Ivison Read Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ivison Read of Warren, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Glenn Read; his wife Margaret Ann Read; his father Neal Read; his brothers, J. D. Read and Billy Dale Read; and his daughter-in-law Michele Read.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Read (Christine) of Winnie, Rosanne Sontag (Perry) of Fulshear, Scott Read (Dan Garza) of Houston, Paula Read of Houston and Todd Read of Katy; and his sisters, Faye McAlpin of Warren and Florine Wacasey of Friendswood. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
