Elizabeth Stambaugh Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Stambaugh of Waskom, Texas, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Harden and Willie Mae McLendon; and her grandparents, Solomon Augustus, Tinnie Louise McLendon, Jim and Fannie Williams.
She is survived by: her siblings, Anatalie Creason of Louisiana, James Hardin McLendon (Becky), Howard "Harold" McLendon, Joe Gordon McLendon and Bobby Wayne Wigley; her former husband Billy Gene James; her daughter Rebecca "Becky"; her spouse Pat Gonzales; her former spouse Will Stambaugh; her children, Dee Alan Stambaugh of Oklahoma, Chawn Stambaugh of Texas and Shayla (Richard Lamb) of Texas; and her great grandchildren, Kyler Turner and Tatum Stambaugh. She is also survived by family members and friends.
The family suggests memorials to the Mendenhall Cemetery Association.
