She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Edward Hughes and Emma Lou Britton Hughes; her husband Fred Lewis Jarrell; her son Todd Jarrell; and her siblings, Gary Dean Hughes, Robert Edward Hughes and Dolly Jean Fyffe.

She is survived by: her son Kirby Jarrell (Lisa); her sister Linda Prouty; her granddaughter Ashley Jarrell (Kole Broussard); her great grandchild Ainsley Broussard; and her close friend Brenda Wilkins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Waskom Fire Department.
