It is with sadness that the passing of Carl Watson (Waxahachie, Texas) is shared. Carl, born on February 7, 1940 in Penelope, Texas, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Henry Watson and Zudora Watson; his brother Claud Dean Watson; and his sister-in-law Bobbie Gayle Watson. He is survived by: his wife May Bell Watson; his daughter Kim Campbell-Hailey; his son-in-law Kevin Hailey; and his stepgranddaughters, Katherine Hailey (Diego Zometa) and Abby Hailey Petty (Baker Petty). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home (1826 US-287 BUS, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pathway Baptist Church (1116 Brown St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Red Oak Cemetery (599 TX-342, Red Oak, TX 75154).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the Pathway Baptist Church Building Fund.
