It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Basye (Waxahachie, Texas), who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Gene Basye; and his brother John Basye. He is survived by : his mother Floy Basye; his daughter Jennifer Ellison; his grandchildren, Layne and Konner Ellison; and his siblings, Cathy Farquhar, Nell Erwin (Steve), Mike Basye and Kevin Basye (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
