He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Evans and Johnny Evans; his sister Sherrie; and his daughter Freda. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Debra Bigham (Ronnie) and Mike Evans (Susan); his siblings, Shirley Gruben, Pam Wright, Mack Evans (Nancy) and Darrell Evans (Kathy); and his brothers-in-law, Billy Herron and George Herron. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
