He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Raymond Morbitzer and Catherine Alfreda Weinzapfel Morbitzer; and his siblings, Alene Nowell, Velma Filippone, Lorinda Manasco, Denis, Clyde and Donald Morbitzer.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Ravina Towe of North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to any Disabled Veterans Program.
