It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable Marie Davee in Weatherford, Texas, born in Fentress, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie McDavid and Vida McDavid (Browning); her birth mother Annie McDavid (Heidrich); and her sister Peggy Ann Burnett. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Davee; her children, Janet Davee (Jeannie Cook) and David Davee (Paula); her grandsons, Harris Davee (Courtney) and Hunter Davee (Catherine Conrad); her sister Polly Ryan; her nieces, Dianna Patterson and Laura Davies; her cousins, Ruthie Jones, Sammie Stanley and Verline Spann; and her caregivers, Amanda Robledo, Mable, Wayne and Josefina Costilla. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, she wanted donations to be made to First Christian Church--Kerrville for flood recovery . Or to Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (trtf.org).
