She is survived by: her children, Karen Gay Smith of Houston and Steven Douglas Smith (Susan) of Houston; her grandchildren, Josh (Kelly), Doug, Jasper, Shannon and Connor; her great grandchild Sean; her niece Julie; her nephew Johnny; and her friend Ella Sue. She is also survived by her kids, grandkids, her mom, and her mother-in-law.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mason Global Methodist Church.
