He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Ashley and Minnie Ingram; his siblings, Maureen and LeRoy; his son LeVern Jr.; and his pet Afroditi.
He is survived by: his wife Ellie Ashley; his son Larry Ashley; his nieces and nephews, Almont Pierce, Richard Ashley, Elaine Feickert and Beth Meche; his son Robert Gates (Veronica); his great-niece Tina Berger (Stephanie); and his grandson Jesse Berger (Jennifer).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in LeVern's name to St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church.
