He is survived by: his wife Joye Machen; his children, Randy Hardaway (Amy) of Fredericksburg, TX and Michelle Hardaway Collins (Andrew) of Katy, TX; and his siblings, Jane Hardaway Whitney, Barbara Hardaway Lynch, Susan Hardaway McLain (Paul) and Donald Hardaway. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
