He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Fernandez and Maria Fernandez; his brother Fernando Fernandez Junior; and his son Michael Louis Fernandez. He is survived by: his wife Angela Fernandez; his children, Anthony Fernandez (Albert) and Carolyn Shantz (Tim); his grandchildren, Josh Shantz (Alissa), Taylor Shantz, Chase Campbell (Makaela) and Cole Campbell; his daughter Trina Keathley (Ryan); his grandchildren, Ryan David Keathley (Emma Beth) and Sloan Keathley; his daughter-in-law Kim Cunningham (Kyle); and his grandchildren-in-law, Jordan Stewart (Homer) and Sage Stewart. He is also survived by his three children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598).
In honor of Robert's compassionate spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
