He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae Phillips of Houston; his daughter Gloria Richards of Houston; his sister Dorothy Jean Block of Blanco, Texas; and his grandchildren, David Richard, Sr. (Patricia) of Shreveport, Kenneth Richard (Janette) of Harden Texas and Lee A. Richards (Patricia) of Tomball, Texas. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
