He was predeceased by: his parents, June and Jim Valentine; and his grandmother Lorraine Vanno (Diane Nowlin). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Callie Estes (Joe), Misty Herbold (Bubba), Kendra Nowlin (Ahmed), Jake Cates (Cassie) and Mason Nowlin; his brother Jim Valentine (Betty); his pet Jameson; and his grandchildren, Jadon Pfister (Gracie), Shaelah Pfister (Grant), Jazmine, Austin, Ronin Harper, Maya, Ty Pulliam, Faylynn, Izabella Estes, Owen, James Estes, Tarek El Mekati, Malek El Mekati, Oakley Cochran, Lyric Dickinson and Jake Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home (111 W. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crowder Funeral Home – Webster (111 W. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Port O'Connor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Tom may make a donation to Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
