He was predeceased by: his wife Mamie. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan April Day, Cynthia Elizabeth Day, Sandra Lynn Day-Morgan and Melinda Elise Day; his grandchildren, Melissa Morgan, Erin Brown (Christopher) and Kelsey Martin; and his great grandchildren, Veda, Zoey, Luna and Norah Brown.
