He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Floyd and Ruth Starr Long; and his siblings, A. C. Long, W. F. Long, Wesley Long, Beula Hofstetter and Jewel Long.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Long; his daughters, Bobbi Davis, Janice Lipscomb and Paula Legrand; and his sister Lucille Hofstetter. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Yorktown or donor's choice.
