Alice Peck Schutz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Peck Schutz of Weimar, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kunz and Karolena [Wanjura] Kunz; her former husband Irven Monte Peck; her daughter Shirley Darline Peck; and her brothers, Bennie and Henry Kunz.
She is survived by: her children, Monte D. Peck (Aileen) of Hallettsville and Reta Hrachovy of Weimar; her grandchildren, Karen Hrachovy Hall (Steven) of Sweeny, Monte W. Peck (Erin) of Lincoln and Marshall Peck (Alison) of Hallettsville; her great grandchildren, Melanie, Kallie Hall, Daphne, Thaddeus Peck, Vivian and Ava Peck; and her husband Cecil Schutz. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials (in lieu of flowers) may be given to MD Anderson, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice.
