He is survived by: his wife Zanonia White; his stepchildren, Kathy Newman Holley and J. D. Newman, Jr. (Andrea); and his children, Virgil White and Carla Moody White. He is also survived by his two sisters, along with his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
