He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubin Dahse and Lorene Dahse; and his brother-in-law Jerry Vachala. He is survived by: his friends, Pearl and James; his wife Carolyn Jeanette Dahse of Weimar; his children, Dawn Dahse of Weimar and Blake Edward Dahse (Lauren) of Weimar; his grandchildren, Ashton Wahrenberger, Peyton Jaymes Dahse and Colton Edward Dahse; and his siblings, Ava June Vachala of Weimar, Howard Dahse (Carolyn) of La Grange, Jack Dahse of Houston and Dean Dahse (Jo Ann) of Franklin. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Weimar United Church (403 W Main St, Weimar, TX 78962).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice or to the Weimar Golf Course, P.O. Box 700, Weimar, Texas 78962, a place that held a special meaning for James.
